supervisor certification course

Supervisor Certification is the highest level of credentialing that a Trauma Recovery Coach can earn. It is the only level of certification that allows a Coach to provide supervisory services to the Association’s students and coaches.

Supervision is an integral part of Trauma Recovery Coaching, as it is within Supervisor led groups that our coaches learn how to integrate all that they have learned in their training classes into their direct work with clients. A Supervisor operates in dual roles. The first is as teacher, mentor, and guide to the coaches to whom they provide services. Second, Supervisors represent the coach’s present and future clients, ascertaining whether the coach can provide both ethical and effective coaching services.

Due to the tremendous responsibilities inherent in the Supervisor role, earning this certification is not just attending a course, but completing an entire Supervisor Training Program involving a great deal of experiential requirements, including but not limited to: observation, facilitation, coaching and coursework. See all of those requirements below.
