Trauma Recovery Group Coaching Certification

Trauma is a relational injury. To fully travel to the place of recovery that we wish to inhabit, survivors will travel the most quickly and effectively if they do so in relationship with others. One-to-one Coaching is a very powerful modality for trauma survivors. Group coaching can super charge recovery work because it offers multiple relationships in a safe, healthy environment.

Groups offer not only a relationship with the Coach Leader, but also with the individual group members. It gives members the chance to:

  • practice new communication and relationship skills in a safe environment

  • resource and learn from their peers

  • learn about trauma and recovery within a different dynamic other than dyad work with one-to-one Coaching

  • receive another touchpoint of help and support other than only one-to-one Coaching

Offering group coaching has many benefits to Coaches as well:

  • It brings diversity of services into your Coaching Practice, which helps prevent burnout from offering 1-to-1 coaching sessions

  • Groups can be very enjoyable to run

  • Offering Group Coaching allows some clients who cannot afford 1-to-1 Coaching to still have access to Trauma Recovery Coaching

  • It allows you to focus on a specific topic or content that you really enjoy interacting with
